About Role
Head of Music
- Member of the Leadership for Learning Team, actively contributing to the strategic planning and development of our whole College curriculum vision;
- Actively promote and be responsible for student participation and achievement in music in both the taught curriculum and the CCA and enrichment programme;
- Line manage and take responsibility for the performance development of Music staff;
- Manage and take responsibility for the performance of PIP teachers and peripatetic music staff;
- Be a role model teacher for colleagues, demonstrating and articulating high expectations, high standards of student achievement, classroom management and organisation.
