School Introduction

Shanghai Jinshan World Foreign Language School, short for JSWFLS, is a K12 private school, which is affiliated to June Yao Education Group. It is located in the central area of Jinshan New Area. With its modern European-style architectures, pleasant school surroundings and complete facilities, JSWFLS is acknowledged as a new elite school belonging to World Foreign Education Group.

To achieve the dream of running a century-old famous school, JSWFLS adheres to the educational principle of World Foreign Education Group, relies on the educational resources of the group and learns from the experience of Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School. Two grades of junior and senior middle school have been recruited for the first time in 2017. Jinsong Wang, a teacher of Special Grade, took up the post of principal. Course Introduction

According to the physical and mental traits of senior high school students and the characteristics of the development of different subjects, a basic, diversified, hierarchical, and comprehensive curriculum system is constructed.The curricula include three modules: High School Basic Courses (compulsory), CAS Practical Courses (expansive), and Integrated Courses (selective), providing students with rich curricula and various platforms.

Basic Courses include eight subjects, comprehensive quality evaluation, and optimization of the 3+3 college entrance examination; CAS Practical Courses consist of school-based development class, reflecting features of creation, action, and service, such as International Youth Science and Innovation Event, Model UN, Roots and shoots, simulations of business decisions, career planning, etc. Integrated courses include language arts, science and engineering, economics and other courses.
