Sendelta International Academy Shenzhen (SIA) was founded in 2011 as a joint venture together with the International Department of Shenzhen Experimental High School, and gradually branched out to Guangdong Experimental High School, Shenzhen Hongling Middle School, Shenzhen High School of Science, and Shenzhen Yongyuan Experimental School. Over its 12-year history, the program graduated its first senior class in the spring of 2013. Since 2015, our school became an independent international school, now enrolling about 600 students from grades 6-12 that includes a US High School Curriculum with AP courses, an IGCSE and ALevel Program, a Liberal Arts Program, and an Art Center. Guangdong Experimental High School remains the Teaching Spot of SIA in Guangzhou City. Currently, SIA is approved to deliver Cambridge International Education and Edexcel Qualifications from Pearson curriculum, and the ACT® Global Assessment Certificate TM, and is the Model School of the ETS TOEFL® English Learning Associate Program. SIA is also a candidate for the Accrediting Commission Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC).
