background—including a Bachelor and Master of Laws, a PGCE, and a TEFL certification—I bring a

wealth of knowledge and experience, including three years of teaching undergraduate university

students in legal studies and two years of teaching English in Hong Kong and China. I am eager to

leverage this expertise to support the development of your students.

Throughout my teaching career, I have cultivated a student-centered approach that emphasizes

compassion and understanding. I am skilled in teaching oral English, reading, writing, and

comprehension. My ability to integrate cultural sensitivity into my lessons has allowed me to work

effectively with Chinese teachers, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances student

learning.

In addition to my classroom responsibilities, I host public speaking as an extracurricular activity,

ensuring that students continue to learn English outside of the classroom. I provide pastoral care by

assisting students in writing and refining their speeches, offering meaningful feedback that motivates

them by praising their strengths and addressing areas for development. I am equipped to assess their

progress, maintaining clear records of each student’s performance, which I share with parents to

keep them informed of their child’s growth.
